I am getting an accordion tomorrow at Lion's Park Sr Center. So excited... LOL
Went to Austin today, and had a great time. Zilker Park is lovely area... So many little groups doing their music thing. Even hit on a Irish music group. Nice. That is my fave traditional music... Enjoy!!!

I am in Killeen. We came up to Austin a week ago last sunday and met in Zilker Park, with some bluegrass group. They don't look kindly on accordions from what I hear.

I go on line for my actual Accordion lessons. They are free in the blog section of the accordion website. www.texasaccordionnet.ning.com (Sheila Lee is the instructor) They have lessons up to 7 (or will have as of Wednesday). She records them and one can pick them on ustream. I am on lesson one and will be for awhile.
Dr Kott our mentor hear in Killeen teaches a bit different, so for most part I have to learn on my own. Don't know if I will ever get up to speed. Came into program a bit late so have lots of catching up to do.
I am a little down about it but I will persevere. Are you in Killeen or Where?
